After months of secret backroom meetings with Aqua, the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority (BCWSA) has announced a plan to sell off its sewer system to the Aqua Pennsylvania corporation. This deal would take the control of an essential service out of local, public hands and saddle generations of residents in Bucks County and beyond with higher utility bills.
What can we do about it?
Local governments are failing us and the state government is complicit in water and wastewater privatization across the state. We need a large volunteer group to fight this corporate takeover.
